Where is the Walnut Street Dock?
The Walnut Street Dock is on the east side of the Schuylkill River under the Walnut Street Bridge. It is easily accessible from stair towers leading down from the Walnut Street Bridge, the railroad crossing at 25th and Locust Street, and ramps leading down from the Market and Chestnut Street Bridges. Is parking available near the dock?
Two hour neighborhood street parking is available near 25th and Locust Streets. Metered Parking is available on Walnut, Chestnut and Market Streets and Schuylkill Avenue. A parking lot is available at 24th and Sansom Streets. A map with parking options marked is available here.
Where is Schuylkill Banks?
Schuylkill Banks is the 8 mile stretch of riverbank along the tidal Schuylkill River that runs through the heart of Philadelphia, south of the Fairmount Dam. The landscaped trail and greenway is located on the east (Center City) side of the Schuylkill River between Locust Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (below the Fairmount Water Works). How do I donate to Schuylkill Banks?
The Schuylkill River Development Corporation (SRDC) is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that manages Schuylkill Banks. Donations are an important part of our operating budget, and go directly to trail maintenance and events. Information about donating to SRDC is available here or by calling 215-222-6030 x106.
What events are held on Schuylkill Banks?
Schuylkill Banks offers a wide variety of programming during the summer and fall. From River and Kayak Tours to Movie Nights and Fish Fests, we have something for everyone. More information about our events is available here.

What's up with the construction on the trail and bridges?
Schuylkill Banks and some of its neighboring bridges are undergoing enhancement projects to improve pedestrian and cyclist experiences. More information about ongoing and upcoming projects along Schuylkill Banks is available here.
When will the CSX pedestrian bridge and Boardwalk to South Street be built?
