IFC FREE FILM FEST!

The IFC Free Film Fest is a traveling festival bringing outstanding independent films to park spaces across the country all summer long. IFC will present three movies over the course of three nights, outside and under the stars for all to enjoy. Come out July 10, 11 and 12th to Schuylkill River Park as Philadelphia hosts the IFC Free Film Fest!

More than just presenting free films, though, the IFC Free Film Fest will highlight both the film and Indie culture in the Philadelphia community. At the festival we will be showcasing the best that local filmmakers have to offer in the Media Lab Lounge. If watching isn’t enough… you can even enter to win your own HD camera and Sony home theater system! IFC is also partnering with a non-profit organization, Kid Flicks, to present the Temple University Children’s Hospital with fun films for kids. At each festival site we’re asking our viewers to donate any G, PG or PG-13 DVD’s for a new entertainment library to help out some kids in need.

Come out and celebrate the spirit of Indie film as we screen Raising Arizona, The Princess Bride and Napoleon Dynamite in the city that rings with Independence.
