Walnut Street Dock

The Schuylkill River Development Corporation had a floating dock installed at Walnut Street in November 2005 to enhance the greenway. This public dock gives kayakers and canoers a place to enter the tidal Schuylkill and for SRDC to run riverboat tours during the summer and fall.
The dock was installed by JPC Group, and the total cost for the project was approximately $400,000.
