As part of the National Environmental Policy Act,the City of Philadelphia, the Schuylkill River Development Corporation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration invite the public to participate in an open house on January 5, 2017 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm to present the Schuylkill River Swing Bridge Project and solicit comments.

The purpose of this project is to provide safe, recreational passage for cyclists and pedestrians to cross the river while maintaining dependable access for maritime traffic traveling along the Schuylkill River.
