Join Schuylkill Banks and Bird Philly for a free, guided bird walk on the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia. Make the most of the fall migration as you learn about local birds and explore the trail. No birding experience necessary!

Key details:

  • Meet at the parking lot on the Bartram's Mile section of the trail near the main entrance of Bartram's Garden (at the meadow). We will walk up to a mile, stopping frequently. You can get to this section of the trail via bike, car, or public transit. There are public bathrooms available at Bartram's Garden.
  • If the walk needs to be rescheduled because of weather, we'll post an announcement here.
  • No binoculars? No worries! Birding backpacks with binoculars and field guides can be borrowed from ALL Philly Free Library branches.
