Artist Walk and Talk at Fairmount Water Works: The History of the Schuylkill

Step behind the scenes of Walking the Schuylkill, the current exhibition at Fairmount Water Works, in this artist walk and talk. The event starts with a one-hour discussion with artist John Brady about how he captured the Schuylkill River for this exhibit within the context of the river's mutifaceted history. Learn how canals, coal, railroads, highways, and industry have all shaped the story and intersect with our drinking water.

After the talk, join him for a brief 10-15 minute walk on the Schuylkill River Trail to take your own images and find inspiration. Bring your curiosity and your camera!
