Philly Phlotilla

Join Schuylkill River Greenways Association on Saturday, July 11th with over 100 kayakers and paddle the tidal Schuylkill River for a one-of-a-kind paddling event and festival to celebrate the unique historical significance of the Schuylkill River and Fort Mifflin on the Delaware. The kayaking portion of the event will begin at the Walnut Street Dock. Kayakers will paddle through the heart of Philadelphia decked out in red, white, and blue, creating an amazing spectacle for visitors and residents to view and cheer on the flotilla from the river bridges. Paddlers will also be accompanied by SV First Light, a family-owned sailboat company that specializes in historic river trips.
