Travel between Bartram's Garden and the Cobbs Creek Trail on the 1.5 mile 58th Street Greenway. From Bartram's Garden, take Elmwood Avenue to 58th Street, turn right on 58th Street and continue to Chester Avenue. Turn left on Chester Avenue (by the Francis J. Myers Recreation Center), and then turn right on 59th Street. Continue a few blocks before connecting to the Cobbs Creek Trail. Much of the route is off-road, however portions of the route are on marked bike lanes.

The Cobbs Creek Trail is currently a 4.2 mile asphalt trail running along Cobbs Creek in West and Southwest Philadelphia. The northern trailhead is at 63rd and Market Streets and the southern trailhead is at Island and Woodland Avenues.  The trail is part of the East Coast Greenway and will eventually connect to the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum.
