SRT Under MLK Jr Drive Bridge

The Schuylkill River Trail beneath the MLK Jr Drive Bridge will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists during the overnight hours of 9pm to 5am for two weeks beginning Monday, March 11 as contractors will be performing concrete removal work in the evening as part of the bridge rehabilitation project. The trail will remain open during the day. Pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured at the closures between Paine’s Park and Fairmount Water Works. Trail detour signs will be posted at either end of the trail closure to direct pedestrians and cyclists around the closure using the trail behind the Philadelphia Art Museum to reconnect to Kelly Drive.
