Christian to Crescent

The Christian to Crescent trail section is located along the east side of the Schuylkill River from the southern end of the South to Christian section near Christian Street to the northern end of the Grays Ferry Crescent section at 34th Street. This is the newest trail section and fills a 2,812-foot gap in the five-county Schuylkill River Trail. It features a 650-foot cable-stay bridge that boasts magnificent views of the city and Schuylkill River, trail lighting for nighttime use and safety, benches, trash cans, trees and flowering perennials, a tunnel connection to Grays Ferry Crescent, and an accessible connection to the 34th Street Bridge.
